How am I much better at bullet than rapid?

Guess this is an old message but if you're still around I've always played rapid and my rating has gotten better-my current high was 1431 in April. But I recently tried bullet. When I first started-trying 1/0-I kept losing, my rating was dropping to 200. But I switched to 2/1 and my rating rose in a few days to currently 875. Meanhile my winning percentage is like 63% so if I continue at this rate it will youd think get considerably higher than here.
Comparatively my rapid win rate is just 48% so... who knows
I played a few 1100s in rapid and I lost 5/8 games but then the next game I played a 1400 in bullet and won... it is strange that my difference in bullet and rapid is so big. My bullet rating is 1500 while my rapid is only 1100...
