I'm new to Chess.com. I've usually only played for fun and not for copetition. I've noticed that my game is rated and that there is a plus score (+) added to my rating if I win. I have points deducted (-) if I lose and there are points for a draw. I want to know how this is calculated?

If there was a forum that answered this question, my apology for the duplicaion but I was not able to find it.
