How are my opponents getting so much elo

I play a lot of bullet games which means my ELO fluctuates a lot, but I only ever lose around 7-11 and gain 7-9, but I played a couple rematches with a guy and he was gaining (at a higher ELO) around 20-30 per win (3 to 0 to opponent)

I didn’t really pose a question: is there a reason for this?

The site uses the Glicko rating system that includes a measure of rating uncertainty called the rating deviation (RD) value. New members, or members with large gaps in games for a pool, have a high RD value and will have larger rating swings after games. As more games in a pool are played, the RD value decreases, as will the magnitude of rating changes.
