How can I opt out of chess dot come gathering and using data they have collected?

I asked because I Googled some of your language and came up with nothing, so I am assuming that it was just a list put together by you and not some official statement of rights that you were quoting.

I must apologise for I did not mean to sound so abrasive.

Consent

Processing personal data is generally forbidden if it is not expressly allowed by law, or the impacted persons have not consented to processing these data.

One must consider, however, that recital 32 requires that a consent may only be granted through a clear negotiation. This includes the requirement for an opt-in.

Again I am not the subject of this thread, never the less one should not draw too many conclusions from the display of a flag, but ok I am supporting Mexico in the world cup.

Are there any other Europeans that can relate whether they were offered the opt-in option and gave their consent?

Yes its more specific but I still haven’t given my consent nor has any been explicitly sought.

Its not the advertising per se, its the gathering of data without the option to explicitly opt-in or opt-out

I mean maybe chess dot com did ask for consent but I failed to notice, its possible.
