How can I recover from my blitz tilt?

Since I improved a lot in rapid, my blitz rating has fallen a lot. I'm at 1500 blitz right now, but my top rating in blitz was 1670. Why does this happen? What should I do? Shall I just let blitz go and focus on rapid?

Could be to just go rapid all the way.

Yes, I think that is the best. I think rapid is true chess, and blitz is not.
