You set your estimated level when creating your account. Once the account is created, you can't change it. But the way the rating system works, you will quickly move to a level that matches your strength within the pool of players.

I remember that if you said you are new to chess then you got 400 elo
if beginner then you got 800 elo
if immediate then you got 1200 elo (right)
but i don't know if you are advanced how many elo you got.(start)
