Please, let me tell you what I was thinking: You know, here the players who don't have premium membership get adds on their page. This was my idea...Don't you think that will be possible that way? Thanks!
How can you advertise on Chess.com, if you want to let people know about your Event?

doesn't chess.com chooses their own ads? plus if you want to get your ads onto chess.com you have to pay some prices.. you might want to contact chess.com(staff) directly for further help
Chess.com uses an ad provider network for the advertisements presented to basic members and don't host their own ads, though the site will post about site events on the homepage.

When you say homepage you mean Chess.com page, or is a dedicated page, just for events in general?
Home page: www.chess.com.
The site will run banners for site events, but they do not run their own advertising on site, beyond that. All the ads are from a third-party provider.

Man...If only chess.com had a forum or something, where people could advertise things, and let other members know about things.

I am consumer of this business, but in the same time the third party also. So, all I need is to connect this business with my business. Why should be so hard?

Im no expert in this, but this is what i would suggest....
If i were you? I would find a chess site, where you can sign up. Then i would make sure they have some type of forum, or some way to get your message out to others.

The name on his account is "Mike Peacock" too.
I'm starting to get the feeling that chess.com forums are too weird for normal people.
I mean, you're either a 9 year old spamming "hi" every 2 minutes, or a troll making ridiculous topics, or a mentally ill person making ridiculous topics.
Where on the internet can a normal person talk about chess?
I would like to say we could have a serious chess discussion here. But...everything turns into a personal attack, or trolls take over a decent post and turn it into a "look at me" fest.

I guess I shouldn't complain so much. I got to post some in some serious topics (and I saw you there too bacon).
It's just bizarre to me sometimes.
I'm not one of those crazy people who thinks bots are pretending to play games and chat here... but it would make me feel better to know a lot of the inane, and at times incomprehensible posts here come from someone's science project: a bot trying to mimic human conversation.
Their is a club where cheating can be discussed to death. Why do people not use it, and continue to do it in he main forums? Attention.
Their are clubs where you can discuss religion, sex, pretty much anything not allowed in the main forums. Why do people not use those clubs, and continue to discuss those tings in the main forums? Attention.
Sometimes i see staff like a parent doesn't want to discipline the child. All they want to do is issue the usual "Honey...don't do that" And then doesnt understand why the kid turns out to be a juvenile delinquent. I know its not popular to day, but you need to set boundaries. And i dont mean boundaries that have no fear of repercussion.

This is what im talking about...

Dad Seems To Feel Bad He Got the Wrong Car
His dad, surprisingly, sounded rather apologetic that he picked the wrong car for his kid:
"I wanted to give my son a birthday present. We could only afford to give him a BMW, while he kept on insisting that he be given a Jaguar. He said the vehicle was too small but we thought he will be okay."
"We never imagined he would do anything like this."

I guess.
I don't see any topics on cheating or religion though. Seems they're doing their job.
They always pop up.

Well, the reason it's news is because it's insane, so that's a good sign.
With over 7 billion people on the planet you can be sure some of them are narcissistic and insane... I can think of one rather well known narcissistic insane person in the United States. He is also in the news a lot...
If you want to discuss politics you need to do that in the appropriate non public forum.

I didn't say it was politics.
Isn't it interesting though, that you (and everyone) knows exactly who I mean without me having to say it.
If you are referring to the person that currently occupies the office of the president of the US?
I support him.

I know you do, that's why I mentioned it
I don't know which of my past accounts you'd remember best, we've chatted before.
I think i know who you are. Fan of horses by any chance?

Yeah, I had a horse theme going for a while. I guess that would have been the thing to mention.
Thats who i thought you were. Welcome back!
Hi,
Does anyone know how to advertise on Chess.com, if you want people know about your Event and how much they charge?
Thank you,
