You mean elo? You may have realized something. I gained more than 200 points in 3 weeks.

I gained 100 rating points from just playing a game per day over 30 days. If someone was a 2000 trying to get to 2100 it would be quite an accomplishment. But at lower ratings, while you should feel proud of the rating increase, it's not as rare as you think it is.
edit: I think you typo'd. You actually went up almost 300 points in that time frame, which is much more impressive.
