how do I become a fide president in my lifetime?

I'm 28..I love chess, but I figured out that I'm not going to get anywhere playing it since im not good, and am not going to get much better even i try the hardest..that would be a totally misdirected effort at this point in life, and would be waste of precious time...

So I figured out that the only way to be in touch with the game is to get into administration or organization of tournaments, and promoting chess..

Making room for oneself in the national chess federation would be great, although that would require political and financial backing..

Anybody with experience as an organizer or members of national or regional federations who could share their views on where to start would be of immense help..

Its also a good way to see the world, as chess is almost a global sport..

Of course, ultimate ambition would be place in the fide elite committee or fide president..because one of Stephen Covey's 7 habits of highly effective people states - "begin with the end in mind"..

Become a head of state .. as the present president Illzhiumov or become an ex WC as Kasparov!
