how do I check my Elo

It is from the rated games you play against humans.
Bot games don't count.
Arpad Elo was the name of the guy who developed the rating systems used in chess. There have been some refinements by another professor named Mark Glicko.
Puzzle ratings don't really count either.
A lot of people used to say that only over the board rated slow chess games counted but that is changing.

and i'm guessing that the number on bots is not elo because i can beat the bots that are 1100
but i haven't tried anybody that high yet

Bot ratings are known to be inflated.
Another thing is- did you play them on two crowns, or three?
It's much easier to beat bots when you have takebacks and feedback rather than when you play vs a real human being

You don't check your ELO rating unless you already have an official ELO rating, even doing the simple math conversion from Ecf is not going to give you the accurate reading!? Official ELO ratings are awarding through performances from tournaments by any of the world chess organisations such as I.C.F sadly one doesn't earn any official ELO rating on any online chess site they are only a basic guide to a person's playing strength!
Please don't write "ELO", it hurts my eyes. It is not an acronym, it is named after the inventor.

What does GLICKO stand for?
Heh heh.

Puzzle rating is different than your real rating against humans.
Because in puzzles, you already know that there's some "checkmate pattern", or "capture pattern", or a "threat pattern". So sometimes you might find your puzzle rating is higher than your real rating (or might be lower if you haven't tried more puzzles).
Your play against humans, that's one who really measures your rating.

i play them on three crowns most of the time
