Chess is a very brutal sport/ game. I think it's way more brutal than soccer or even American football.
Because if you lose at football it just means that the opponent played better,
if you lose at chess, it means you're stupid and your opponent is smart.
It's much harder to take than a leg injury.
And in chess you can lose any time during the game.
Actually, that's not quite true. But in football, you can also possibly get injured at any time during the game.
