How do i get better
Chess is tough, but there's a very easy fix to gain you a few hundred points.
Don't resign. Ever.
At your level, games will so rarely be decided by a single error. If you hang pieces, so will your opponent. Even if they don't, make them prove they know how to checkmate you: you could be down a full queen and it's queen & king vs king, but if your opp doesn't know the checkmate pattern, they'll stalemate or run out of time.
Resigning is a 100% chance of losing. If you play on, even if you only win 5% and draw 5% of the games you would've resigned, your rating will soar.
As for your actual play, train tactics. You need to be able to spot one move blunders (by you and your opponent) in games. Your most recent loss, for instance, you could've won a full piece with a queen check on a4.
Analyze your games. Win or lose, learn something from the game, find where you missed something.
Put your pieces on natural squares and keep them defended: you're not yet at the level where you need to attack and take risk in order to win. Keep your pieces and king safe, and let your opponent self destruct.
