He had been struggling lately, but keep in mind, he's young and has time to improve, and maybe he's been playing too much and burned out, he even withdrew from Grand Chess Tour events to take a break. Maybe he also has a lot of pressure from being the world champ especially a such a young age. Give him time and he'll probably bounce back. He does need to lock in for he upcoming world championship match tho, Sindarov in his current form is a monster
