Is Pablo the arrogant club player? Haha. He likes to be aggressive so I play solid positional lines then he fizzles. Then you convert the win afterwards.

I don’t have access to Pablo due to not having a membership.
So the next best thing is a game against Isabel, a bot of equal rating.
Now, I’m unsure how to post it properly, or if it’s even possible to do on the app, but here is the game anyway.

As you can see, I played decently but not particularly well, and yet I took her apart in the endgame, despite her being “the endgame bot”
I’ve seen this rating range of bots find tactical combinations eight moves deep if you hang them, but if no such combinations are available, and you play relatively carefully, they will trip up and be crushed from there.
Not too long ago I was felt as if Isabel and other bots of her caliber was unstoppable too, but if you continue to grind tactics and study endgames you’ll be destroying these bots as well.

I just finished playing Pablo and I defended with the Najdorf. I grabbed his early e pawn and he brought out his queen early into the game.
I continued to developed and also gaining a tempo on the queen. Converted the one pawn advantage into the end game.
It was boring but as previously mentioned, playing accurate moves and positional beats him.
