You need to go to your friend page. So click 'Home' --> then click 'Friends', which is the text above where your friends are displayed. This should take you to your friends page, which will allow you to cancel friend requests.

I just got the message when trying to send a friend request that you can only have 20 pending requests at a time. How do you find the pending requests so you cancel a few? Thanks
