You can’t deliver check with the King directly. But, you can move the King in such a way so that it opens up a line for a different piece to check the King, which, since the King was the piece that was moved, technically counts as your King delivering a check.

Consider this position, for example. White can move their King up or down and check the Black King through the Rook behind him. Since the King moved, he is technically the one delivering the check, even if he was not the one checking the King.
The king can support another piece to help create a checkmate, but it cannot deliver a direct check like other pieces can. For instance, a rook or queen can give the check while the king protects escape squares. Just keep in mind that while doing this, the king must never move into check itself.
