The objective of chess is not to checkmate quickly.
The objective of chess is to checkmate, regardless of how long it takes.
There are no bonus points for a quick checkmate.
You can only checkmate your opponent if he makes a mistake.
The quickest checkmate is 1 f3 e5 2 g4? Qh4#

Playing for cheap tricks will NOT make you a better chess player... even if it works against noobs.

OK, a serious answer...

How to win in chess:

Play slow games, not Blitz or Bullet. Blitz and Bullet are for having fun and for testing your knowledge and ability. Slow games are for learning and for improving your chess.

Try to watch the whole board, not just the little corner of it that you are focused on. Try to be aware of what the opponent is up to. In chess, situational awareness is critical to success.

The center of the board in chess is like the top of a hill in warfare. Units positioned there can "see" most of the enemy position, and typically (not always, but typically) have a big advantage over units positioned near the edge of the board.

Use your whole army. Don't send one or two guys "over the top" to fight the enemy all alone while the rest of your army sits back and watches. Develop your pieces.

Try to keep all your guys guarded by somebody else.

Look over each of your lost games. Try to figure out exactly why you lost it. Even if it was just a one-move blunder (Oooops! My Queen!) it still had a REASON. Maybe you just didn't feel comfortable in that type of position and couldn't come up with any sensible ideas, so you just made a move at random.

The reason this is important is that if you could somehow eliminate one source of error from your play each time you lost a game, you would probably be an Expert at the game in only a couple of years. Looking at your losses is painful... it's no fun; but figuring out WHY you lose is vitally important to improving your play. Post the game on the forum and ask for help, if you need it.

The only way for quick checkmate is to be a strong player playing a learner and not bothering to offer tips along the way.

1 d4 g6? 2 Qh6#

If "quickly" refers to time then 3/0 Blitz or Bullet is the way to go (I don't play either of them because the lack of time to think will induce blunders).

If "quickly" refers to number of moves then the question itself is contraindicated because only dubious actions like attempting Scholar's Mate will work and those attempts will not make you a better player.

It can just trick beginners.

I know how to defend 4 move checkmate although I'm a beginner.
