The Glicko rating system heavily factors games played and recent games played. The number of games your opponents have played recently, and overall, will form their rating stability. These are used in determining how many points you'll recieve.
How does rating adjustment work?

I'm playing a player rated about 1700 and it shows if you win you'll gain 54 points.I'm also playing player rated about 1550 and it says if I win I'll gain 55 points.Why is this?
Shouldn't my 1700 rated game be a higher rating adjustment than the game with a 1550?
