how does the ranking work on here?

I've found this app recently as no one in
Real life I know who plays chess :(
So I'm not so experienced
I have been playing 5 min games and have been ranked 1000, currently about 960
What is the top rank?
Lowest rank ?
Average rank etc?

Hmm I thought I was going to get a simple answer and that is far from simple ha Interesting
Looking for a very simple answer as in what is top players rank on chess.com 2000? 10000 etc
What is the average rank ?
I see no ranking chart or league chart
Is there one?

Highest blitz rating at the moment is world champion Magnus Carlsen at 2998, you can find all the top players at https://www.chess.com/leaderboard/live

Not easy to find out, but looking at the rating bell curve there are 1833 players currently with a rating below 100. (although no doubt a few of these lost all their games on purpose to see how low they could go)

Average blitz rating is about 1000. As you can see ratings are not equally distributed, the majority of players are between 700-1300 with higher number of players dropping fast the higher you go.
