How does the scoring work?

Hello, I can't figure out how the scoring is figured? I also think that players who resign after just losing their queen in an otherwise even chess match like little girls should lose more points! Anyone know?

LOL Yes! How did you know?! lol I NEVER give up, and I hate people who resign in an other wise even match after they lose their queen. There should be an extra deduction for people who do that lol
