That is exactly the kind of insecure response most 11 year olds would give when confronted by an insulting post like chessputz's. The best in his city means for his age, he probably won some kind of competition or tournament. I don't know why that needed explaining...

It adds up perfectly and I don't understand why you can't see that.

I'm not the Obama Hater that some people are (though I'm not a great fan, either) but I LOVE the pic. that is an A+ job at photoshopping!

Diakona's point is well taken. if your not specific, NOW, are you even going to start? AND Just because your doing something like that now doesn't also mean you can't change it. I make constant changes to my improvement program....

as it hasn't worked yet.

I would gnaw on my socks (dirty, even) if his program has ever produced a genuine strong OTB chess player (and never mind a master). no doubt, it can work online- but will it get him banned?

The MO is to "allude" to success, promise to reveal it, never do it, and when called out on it? Insult people.

If they ever revealed their "system of success" it would be admitting to a style of play less than honest. .
