Im a 1238 in uscf or just look at my profile for chess stuff about me
Rather than wanting to know how good one is at chess, a better question might be to ask whether or not one is getting better at chess. I started studying chess a couple of weeks ago, and although my rating after a few dozen games is around 1100, I am seeing my chess improve because of actively studying opening theory while analyzing games for inaccuracies/mistakes/missed wins/blunders. I’m still far from being a solid player, but I’m getting better and that’s enough for me to know that I’m on the right track.

How good you are at chess can vary over time, I used to play division one league over the board and county for 35 years, until covid hit?? Myvover the board rating then at its peak was ECF 159 that translates to 1872 Elo but now I only play casual games online so doubt if that level is the same probably between 1500-1600 maybe!!?
I Just wanna reach 1000 elo
