As far as I know, when he was a kid, he was considered very talented among other players of his generation. He said himself that he stopped playing for a few years, then resumed playing earning his IM title in the process.
At this point he is an IM (he is still not a GM, but he said that he will try to gain that title) rated around 2350, which means he would beat an expert rated 2 000 around 9-1 (or perhaps 8 - 2 as he is not 2400 at this point) in a 10 games match, but he would on average lose 9-1 (or 8 - 2) or something like that against a super GM. Note that I am not saying he would lose to an expert a single game, but 9-1 can be achieved with 8 wins and 2 draws for instance.
I think he is not that op compared to other gm. He is just very interactive and he really knows how to talk to other people that's why many people subscribe in his channel.

I like his streams but talking too fast, so it makes things less learnable for me. he is more into entertaining these days. he acts according to his audience i guess..
well i'm not following him for a while tbh.
Sorry if you misunderstand me, I also respect him for being an excellent player but I only compared him to other GMs and that is only what I mean.

He does talk fast that’s why on YouTube he puts the moves and stuff in the notes. He is entertaining which is his job on YouTube. All the streamers are meant to entertain and educate.I for one like Feingold in small doses but he never does education on his video or it’s with kids and it’s like let’s get to the point. GM Annan very good
There is this funny thing called rating in chess. So actually it shouldn't take more than 10 seconds to find out how good someone is.
i wanna see him play against any streamer who defeated Stockfish 13... there are two people...one even did that in bullet on his smartphone and won by checkmate

He's trying to appeal to as many people as possible, something you need to do if you want to have financial success as a youtuber. Unfortunately, that makes him more and more like Justin Bieber of chess content creators.
