More comparisons to Carlsen...

Naka only broke 2800 once, after his best string of tournaments, and fell below it again a month or two later. This was also about the time Naka qualified for the Candidate's tournament (the only time he's ever qualified) where he finished on 50%.

Carlsen broke 2800 before his 19th birthday, and has been rated over 2800 every day since then. Carlsen has won 4 world chess championship matches.

Carlsen hasn't won 100% of the SCC events, that's true.

From memory though he's won two of them (ahead of Naka).

All fine and well, but you're comparing your input to IM Pfren. You're not an IM, so...different peer group. IM Pfren can comment with a little more credibility. In fact, 5 years ago I'd wager his name was more well known here.

How can IM pfren have more credibility, about what I do, than I have myself?

I haven't played a serious game since roughly march (here or anywhere else). I'm not so interested in playing chess anymore.

But when a low rated player messages me for an unrated game, I don't mind accepting.

My personal opinion - I respect him for his content and also because I don't watch enough chess streamers or read enough chess news to (1) know stuff or (2) care.

At least when I watch him, he doesn't dawdle on every little thing and stretch it out, unlike pretty much every single chess streamer I've seen (eric rosen I'm looking at you and your 2 hour twitch clips). talks relatively fast and concisely, so I would not mind watching him more.

My personal favorite, though, is kevin from the chesswebsite 🙃
