I've seen Levy beat engine cheaters as black. They got swindled in the closed KID. White banked on their massive advantage in the end trying to come up with moves and went on to lose. It's a trick but you need to be good in chess, playing closed King's Indian. Levy is a very strong IM.

As a youtuber he's very charismatic and engaging. My problem is when he's trying to educate (I don't know what he's like teaching 1-to-1 with individual students, so this just going by his youtube content) it's like he's placing far too much emphasis on being engaging than he is trying to educate. It's a similar problem I have with Silman in that he'll go off on a tangent which ends up distracting from the point he's trying to make.

Gothamchess has 1.5 million subscribers, so it's pretty good. Maybe the question was badly worded because most of the hundreds of comments didn't even address it, talking about Levy, his style and other purely subjective non-sequiturs.

He’a good for getting people into chess. Many people (including me) have gotten into chess simply just watching the pieces move around and listening to him talk. It was really fun, and he has good videos for beginners. For improvement to the 2000+ range, I cannot vouch.
There is no other incredible chess coach like Lewin Rozman and FunMaskerMike(Mike Klein) I ever seen
