How good was Fischer in 1992? Analyser says very good

When Spassky and Fischer played their match in 1992 opinion was generally that it was a bit of a farce.

However I just ran one game through the analyser using computer to see how many innacuracies etc they would have and what cap score

The game was a Ruy lopez of over 50 moves and Fischer played white. Iwas surprised that in a very complicated game the computer did not find a single innacurate move by Fischer, not one. Spassky however had Four, as indeed most master games have them.

It was a very impressive game by Fischer who was at the time considered well past his best. His average difference to the computer was only 0.4 normally a figure that would indicate a computer cheat.

The game was   not sure what number . but it easy to find on analyser.  I ran it on deep analysis, and as diamond member it ran at full strength

Fischer's play in the 1992 rematch was unjustifiably sneered at for some reason.

Spassky was still an active GM at the time, so it was incredible to see Bobby easily crush him again.

The general consensus, as far as I'm aware, is that Game 1 and one later game were very high quality, but the match overall not so much.

I will look through some of the others later, so far have just seen mistakes from the Spassky side

I take it back, there was some awful chess in some of the games. In a kings indian that Fischer lost Spassky made Three mistakes and one Innacuracy and still won, despite trying hard to mess it up
