its funny cause he prior to this i had beaten him with the KID as white and he wanted a rematch

i love the KID! for the opponents i play against around my level almost always never know how to go about attacking me king plus their too busy defending against my attacking peices once my KID is set up ;D

KID is indeed an opening for champions, most notably the champions Fischer and Kasparov.  The best thing about it is its aggressiveness, which I think the game you posted showed quite well.
