How is Elo rating calculated

Hi, I was wondering how Elo rating of an individual is being calculated. I'm an unrated player and I played in a tournament some weeks ago, I played about 4 or 5 games and only one of my opponents was rated (1832), will I get a rating still?  Assuming I get an initial rating of 1000, does that mean in my next tournament, if I probably win/lose a game its gonna be calculated 1000 (±) Anyone??

Over the board? FIDE?

There is an initial rating calculator on the FIDE site. https://ratings.fide.com/calculator_rp.phtml

Did you win any of the games? How did you do against the 1832?
