Ok I won this game after the opponent hung his Queen. I did make a big mistake later in the game failing to chek and win the knight the next move, However he just hung his knight anyway and resigned.
Which is fine, we all make mistakes. However when I was analysing the game later and the computer said that move 13. Nxe5 by black was a blunder. I felt quite good about that move. It helped me win a pawn and that too an annoying advanced central pawn at that.
The line the computer suggests is on black's move 13. Qb4+ 14. c3 Nxe5 15. cxb4 Nxg4 and trading off queens and winning a piece.
The opponent has to exchange queens because if he doesn't then his rook on a1 is in trouble. How is one to even see such tactics. I am still 2.5 up on the computer evalutaion in my line. However I would have been 6 up had I played the computer line. How does one even see tactics like that.
I wouldn't worry about it. His knight was close to your king, visually it looks like he might have some threats so you take the knight, win a pawn, get a safe position with a good advantage. Your human move was good enough.
