How long Have you been Playing Chess??

I guess about 8 years. From the time I was 12yo til graduated from HS. Then quit for 40 years, cause other 'more fun' stuff to do. Just restarted against machines 2 yrs ago, then my older bro, better than me in spades, recommended this site.

I started playing with my ad at the age of5 when a friend my age showed it to me, and boy did i beat him every time. I then a few years after that played once in a while if i met someone that plays chess also, until i got my email and oi found this place coause it seemed coool. So i joined, so from when i learned it, that would almost 9 years.

Similar to post #8, I played for a year or so while in HS then drifted away from chess. A year ago I started playing against an old chess program. That was a span of about 45 years! I'm not sure how I found this site, probably a Goggle search. Cheers!!
