However long it takes for you to wake up from nap and wash your face

Gambitiodic

One good night's sleep.

May be a week!

Long enough to thoroughly analyse your lost game.

Depends how much chess you did. I, for example I played 5 week long tournaments and was so burned out and tired that I played badly. Now I'm not doing much chess at all for 2 months and it's actually quite beneficial I think. But 2 months is long. 1 month would be perfect for most people I think

YellowVenom

Take a break for however long you need. I haven't played anyone for over six months, and I still don't intend to go back any time soon.

when I tilt I just don't even take breaks. I just keep playing everyday and for some reason my brain just functions again after a full mental breakdown every time lol

Glade to know I’m not the only one who goes on poker tilts! My graph is like a poker player graph lol!

I had to look up the definition of tilt:

Broadly, tilt is an emotional reaction to in-game events that cause a deterioration in gameplay. Tilt in esports is primarily associated with frustration and rage while playing and comes up alongside investigations of toxic or deviant behavior.

Thats some video game stuff! Isn’t this rage inevitable in fast games?

Also in rapid as well it can happen in any chess format
