Blundering is normal, especially after not playing for a long time. Even really strong players make mistakes, albeit less frequent and less obvious most of the time. The more you play, less mistakes you will make. Especially if you play longer games. .
How long until you get better at chess?

I’ve rediscovered chess after not playing for ages (stopped because I was too much of a perfectionist) and now I feel like I’m hardly making process, I get discouraged because during games I get Hey,
I’ve rediscovered chess after not playing for ages (stopped because I was too much of a perfectionist) and now I feel like I’m hardly making process, I get discouraged because during games I get very nervous and do one stupid mistake after the other and end up losing time after time...
I feel really stupid and get very impatient with myself, even though I really just want to enjoy the game and have fun and maybe at some point get better in my own time.
I thought hearing some experiences from other people while learning, it might be easier for myself to accept my own struggles, because, I can’t be the only one to struggle or to feel this way :)
