How many hours have you spent on chess?

Well over 20,000 hours for me , started in 1973 .

Too many hours wasted, not spent.  Yeah I'm in the middle of a crappy OTB tournament for me: 2 out of 3 losses to Class C players -- just 4 years ago I was an A player (this is USCF mind you), now I'm stuck at my floor of 1700

at least five thousand, almost all in the last five years or so. Probably quite a bit more, in fact.

Probably between 1000 and 1500 spread out over about 10 years. It's not that easy to estimate such a thing. 100% of that is online (notmtwain approved it seems).
