alternatively I just make quick moves without too much thinking and just move side ways...:0)
How many online chess games do you have going?

@vengence69: Seems a bit off topic but very impressive and you should rightly be very proud and eager to tell the world....bit of advice though, start looking at the board a little more and you might get above 1532 rank ;0)

30-40 across various sites, but I'm not working. The analysis would be too brutal if I was, and I'd probably just push more wood and get worse results be fore I cut the number down to around 20 or so.

16 and I'm swamped.
I've played people who had 300+ going at at time. Those people amaze me.
Poor poor poor bird!
You have 8 games going, Red! Double that and then we'll see what's what.

Once upon a time I had over 700 games going.
It was great to just play without needing to spend oodles of time on a game
30-45 games is typically my limit, though a friend of mine and I a couple of days ago sat down at a board in which he announced his move and I made my reply without looking at the board and after 25 moves for both sides, I was still able to determine which squares the pieces were on, what pieces had been captured and in what order and the opening that was played. We did this over 2 games, alternating colors and both times had the same result.
What does this have to do with the thread? I usually analyze a particular position in a game about 30s to 1 min before moving and typically am adhereing to a long range tactical plan, answering threats as needed and then resuming my plan. By being able to visualize a game at 50 ply depth, I find that by simply looking at a position, I can usually determine a good if not best move fairly quickly, thus allowing me to focus on the more complex positions and play a higher amount of games proficiently.
Still, 30-40 is fine for now.
