If x > y , this means x is greater than y, or y is less than x

 More clearly

< means "less than"

>means" greater than"

Remember to wherever the conversing direction, that side is small.

4>3 and 4<5 or 6

Whether you use an " > " or a " < ", all you have to know is that the symbol represents the open mouth of a greedy, greedy crocodile.  Because he's greedy and hungry, he always bites the bigger/greater of the two things next to him.  OM-NOM-NOM-NOM!  ;-)

Who said a crocodile can be greedy. Yes it can be hungry but not greedy sir. Greed can only be associated with humans only, animals are beyond to it.

Not true. I've seen my dog steal food that he can't possibly eat, and doesn't even want, just to keep another dog from having it.

This isn't a mantra, you silly person.  He's making the sound of the alligator eating the larger or more valuable quantity.  samaj agaay?

ozzie_c_cobblepot

I thought that was the sound of eating a cheeseburger.

The alligator dont differentiate what is larger or valuble ,he just eat it. The more mind you have the less you enjoy. So just enjoy it and if you  do this, that would be appreciated.

New idea- a 'thumbs up' smiley or simply a 'thumbs up' little icon, like the smileys, to put in posts. Look at the trouble I've had to go through because this doesn't exist! Wink

That seems a little hypocritical!  If your preference for his "mathematically clear" explanation (over my beloved hungry crocodile) is so enthusiastic, you should have the integrity to eschew other examples of visual iconography in favour of spelling things out with similar clarity.

If I was this way about everything, don't you think I'd have a little trouble playing chess? I mean, I could play like a computer, but oftentimes I play moves just for the sake of creativity, and in some cases to make a pretty pattern! *Thumbs up* Wink

No, diamond > crown.

About five hours ago I bought a premium subscription to chess.com and although I have already paid, my user is not premium. When will I receive the premium? And has this happened to anyone else?
