When I play on a regular board and I get and extra queen and still have the queen I just put 2 pawns on the same square
How often are extra queens required?

I looked at my own games collection of 1181 games and here are the stats.
21 of my games required the extra queen which works out to an approximate percentage of 1.8% of my games or roughly 1 in every 56 games. It’s interesting that my offhand guess was 1 game in 250 which would appear to be a terrible guess, BUT I think the fact that I haven’t had an “extra queen” game in my last 323 games influenced my guess.
In the course of doing this analysis I came up with these additional stats:

11.3% |

Most often a 3rd queen is captured right after promotion.
I guess 4 queens arrive in about 1% of games.

The interesting this is the similar ratio betweeen those: ~6 in both cases.
According to Wikipedia, promotion occurs in about 1.5% of games and in about 97% of the cases it's a promotion to a queen.
I'm wondering, does anyone have any statistics on how often, out of those cases, did the promoting player still have the 'original' queen on the board? In other words, many chess sets have 4 queens - how often are those actually required?
"In other words"? How often do games have 4 queens on board some time - that is, both players have two queens at some time?
