How productive certain things are

I'm going to rate the most common things people do on chess.com based on how much they actually improve your chess

Puzzle rush-3/10 makes your pattern recognition better so improves your blitz but doesn't help with classical chess at all

Blitz games-6/10 gives you converting winning positions practice and trains your intuition, but most of the value comes from analyzing your them after you play it

Bullet games-2/10 it is good for drilling your openings but the later parts of the game are just premoving battles...

Watching streamers-2/10 streamers usually just play fast chess and aren't really there to lecture you but rather entertain you, so often streamers don't make you better at chess at all

Doing lessons-5/10 the lessons on chess.com are mostly for sub 2000 players (Kind of like silman books) they are effective at getting you to 2000 but past that it kind of has diminishing return

So those are my ratings, feel free to add your reviews to how useful certain chess activities are at making you a better player

Rapid games - 8/10 - these have longer time controls and you can practice every part of the game and analyze them afterwards.

What is your reference of a 10/10 improvement activity?

There might never be a 10/10 at all - because there is no one specific improvement activity which guarantees the improvement of all players.

classical games - 10/10 for improving at classical

I doubt that's 10/10. At best it's 9/10, because it won't work for some players.
