How Should I Continue?

Hey everyone, I would really appreciate advice from anyone and everyone on this topic, regardless of rating or skill...

I am about to enter into a period of my life when my chess study will be limited to almost nothing.  I will not have access to chess books, and will have very limited internet access.  How can I keep my (admittedly limited) chess skills up during such a lapse?  Any suggestions?

If over the board play is an option, that would be one way.

If you have a puter or a smart phone you could buy software and practice with that.  If not buy a chess computer like this - http://www.wholesalechess.com/shop/chess_computers?ac=google&gclid=CPj33Nnto60CFcfe4AodOF68OQ
