I was shocked when my opponent get another queen. How the hell is that possible?! There is no such a thing in the official rules. Following the simple logic when u play on board where is the second queen?! That happened to me 2 times...

When a pawn reaches the 8th rank, it must promote to either a knight, bishop, rook, or queen. The player will almost always choose a queen.

Hmm, not sure it was really a troll. Could have been, but then his rating is low enough that it could have been a legit question. I had to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Some physical chess boards come accompanied with extra queens in the event a pawn gets promoted when the original queen is still in play.

And where did you get the "official rules" from?

The official rules say that one player cannot have ten queens.

Yeah, eight promoted pawns plus original queen is 9
