How to avoid playing new opponents

When I try for games v opponents, some times matches start versus opponents who have zero games on chess.com. This, I don't like as they maybe good players and it screws up with my rating. How to avoid this?

You can't unless you change the search option to avoid players within the starting rating level, 1200. Maybe put 1201-3000 rating level.

Ok.

A new player can't affect your rating too much if you lose, given where you are.

Maybe chess.com just chose you to show the new guys around..

Yeah, you should feel honored!

You must be stupid as well as bad at chess... If your aim is to gain as many rating points as possible, then at your rating you should be aiming to play as many unkown 1200 players as possble. If you need the reason for this explaining to you then the overwhelming difference between our levels of intelligence would make an explanation from myself impractical.

I think I might be a mean drunk... I guess I can't even take it back now that it's been quoted...

No worries... I'm sure the OP understands. I can delete the quote if you want.

Youre rated under 1000 in everything.  Are you concerned about improving or a rating?
