Wow, you lost 1100 rating points in 7days?

It's ok. If you lose by so many points quickly you can gain back quickly. The rating system is setup in a way which evens these spikes out when reflecting your final rating the more games you will have played

On the plus side, you are a shoe-in to win some of those under-1500 tournaments!  Think positive!

You'll be back up there in no time - assuming you stick to TOS.

Yeah I actually invested a decent amount of time on our game prior to you timing out with a rating of 1300 for which I got 0 pts. Generous. Hmm...

That's rather unfortunate. You had a winning advantage against me there, would've gotten a good few points had everything continued normally.

Chess is not about the rating. There's a lifetime ahead. We all find our niche, eventually. In the meantime take each game, each move as its presented. Who knows, maybe one day Cherub will become a chess professional, but there's plenty of time involved in making life's choices.

Now for myself ?? Lol . I'm well aware Im way past my prime.

No doubt true. The vast majority of chess games played every day are played for not other reason than to play the game.

"The real difference, is the fact that "motors" run on electricity, while "engines" run on combustion. However, many people interchange the usage of these words: On the rare occasions we encounter one, we refer to a steam locomotive as an engine, the same word that we give to the motive power of an aircraft.Sep 15, 2011"

Cherub, did you intentionally give all those points?

Avatar of Cherub_Enjel

No. No I didn't. I should've expected such a result though for breaking TOS.
