How to become like Bobby Fischer?

You can learn to play like Fischer but it will not be easy. Fischer believed in basic chess rules and rarely departed from them. Fischer also studied the games of the Masters and memorized the opening moves of all popular openings.

Fischer was arguably one of the best chess players who ever lived if not the best. it gives me no pleasure telling you this but you can't. no-one currently alive on earth can, not even Magnus Carlson.

You should pick a role model who doesn't need to resort to mind games in order to win. Try to emulate a gentleman like Karpov or Kingscrusher to look up to instead.

This should help you understand my point better.

im sorry to say this but there are GM that study 10 hours a day and after years they are not even close to be as fischer, how old are you he was a GM when he was like 15 or 16 and used to beat other GMs to 6-0 in other words fischer and kasparov are not from this world

if that were true lots of the men who have beards in iceland are all bobby fischer
Only the dead ones

Put 6 chess boards in your room, all with tough positions to work through at all times.
Put 4 screens, 1 on each of the walls. There must always be a master game playing on them.
Always have an audio of chess study playing in the room, even when you go to sleep. Fuse it with calm sounds.
Get a chequered bed cover. And if you can, put a mirror on the ceiling to see yourself on the chequered covers every time you look up.
Do this, and you might succeed.
P.S. always, and I mean always keep pot plants in this room, and water bowls (fish bowls will do).

And the beard! Don't forget the beard!

The beard is definitely the most important part.
Yes! And if you can be a little insane at the same time it is near 100% perfect.
I'm trying my hardest to become like Bobby Fischer. I already follow his studying style I spend every waking minute studying or playing chess. No getting up allowed! I just have to find his opening repertoire so I can play exactly like him. Bobby Fischer is my life hero.
