How to best improve consistently at chess

Thanks for all the advice. I have definitely feel that I have a better understanding as to where to go next.
I had thought to do more tactic training and will look into the ones suggested. I was surprised to note that no one suggeted the extended tactics trainer from chess.com. Is there a particular reason for this?
I had been noticing mild improvement while I was analyzing my losses however I have been constrained in this. I mainly play on my phone and haven't found a way to save games to review at a later time.
Often I would analyze quickly so that I may get on to another game and I don't normally go into great detail. If anyone has any advice on how to save games I would greatly appreciate it.
I will also look towards playing more standard games instead of blitz/bullet.
Thank you once again.

you improve consistently from a beginner to your optimum rating then you plateau and eventually start to decline...the plateau rating depends on your IQ

obviously an IQ of 200, if such a thing exists, would not reach an optimum rating because they would get bored with chess

What if my IQ is 200?
Then one would be forced to conclude that you are extremely drunk every time you post on these forums.

The tactic positions in most books are selected and often also ordered by theme and difficulty. That has some benefits and some drawbacks. When one is beginning with tactics it is important to learn all the common patterns and to practice them. But in a real game there is no one who says "White to move and win by a fork". At the tactics trainer all possible tactical motifs could be in your next position. Thats closer to a real game situation.
I would suggest to do one of the basic books first and then try the tactics trainer.

Try chess tactics from chesstempo, chessidea or http://chess.emrald.net/ (all of them for free)

u should solve some chess puzzles constantly to improve and also play games regularly r have a touch with it !!! solve tactis trainer
try different kind of openings and try to make ur own tactis r traps !!this thing will help u specialise in a single opening atleast upto 5 moves so that u can move it fastly with out thinking and analysis u r mistakes that u willl do in alll ur games this may help u to improve ur talents !!!!
you must play a lot and a lot, but dont play with higher players, before and is neccessary that you come back and study chess from the begining - as for my opinion
