You're right, and I totally agree with your opinion. But I just want to understand this Performance Rating result.
I don't know how to calculate the average rating of opponents with a "bye" and another unrated player.

Score against rated = 3.5 / 5 = 70% -> +149
Average rating of rated opponents: (1663 + 1624 + 1620 + 1669 + 1729) / 5 = 1661
Tournament performance rating = 1661 + 149 = 1810
Score against rated = 3.5 / 5 = 70% -> +149
Average rating of rated opponents: (1663 + 1624 + 1620 + 1669 + 1729) / 5 = 1661
Tournament performance rating = 1661 + 149 = 1810
Thanks!
Considering the entire tournament, it was 5.5 / 7 and PR 1725 (by Chess-Results).
Why 1725?
@5
Of the 7 round 1 was a bye and 1 was unrated.
If you include the unrated then 4.5 / 6 = 75% -> +193
https://handbook.fide.com/chapter/B022022
1661 + 193 = 1854
So I guess Chess-Results takes the unrated at some default rating 1000
1551 + 193 = 1744
Under FIDE rules.
I'm looking at the result of an amateur tournament where a well-known streamer in my country achieved a National Master norm, but there are things I don't understand about the Performance Rating.
The numbers are:
Rating Opp; result
Bye 1
1663 0
1624 1
1620 0.5
1669 1
1729 1
0 1
Performance Rating by Chess-Results: 1725
Another thing: does a national amateur tournament organized by the Confederation of a country give Fide ratings to participants?
