I got participant award
I thought they did away with the "Points"...???...
They removed our ability to see the points, but points are being stored somewhere in the server.

There is a way to see the points, but I've fotgotten it! Maybe one of the mods knows, and can post it here?

Points have been removed from the interface completely. Not sure why but they can no longer be seen.

Ummm...yes. We all know that, that is what some of us are discussing here.
Chatterbox is 10,000 points, and I'm sure that the point system is still in place, they just wanted to hide this stat (to reduce spam most likely).

He just says they have been removed from the (user) interface. That means there's no way for users to see them. He didn't say they aren't being counted somewhere.
If they aren't being counted, then that renders certain awards meaningless.

As far as I'm aware, they are still being counted and will trigger the achievements.
