How to counter horses WITHOUT pawns?

So without pawn on your side, the knight seems kinda OP!
With a rook and a bishop you always lose material at the end of the day.

Also there are just videos to use knights effectively, but not how to counter them, ESPECIALLY NOT without pawns.

My advice is to develop your pieces, defend effectively, and take control of the board.

Like my grandmother used to say "if the horse is hungry then you gotta feed. Please don't cry girl"

Your Grandmother did not play so much of chess right? Actually this was the worst quote to help someone that I ever read, you just wanted to throw this in here caus you love your grand mom, right? Which is fine and I respect that, but bro... come on

Yea but do you got tricks esp. against knights? With bishop and rook for example?

use your pieces to restrict squares you don’t want the knight to go to

wait what

without pawns?

explain to me in what case you dont have pawns, the opponent has knights, and you have bishops and rooks

and this "weaker piece op coz it attacks stronger piece and stronger piece has to run away" thing is very true

well, i can provide this
