How to destroy FIDE masters easily

well i have beaten a GM once. i said do you want to play me and he said no. which means i win by default.

Cherub, I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit. The masters have master ratings because they are good.

Hencha, the better roast would be that he should plan to be a therapist, if you've ever met a therapist, they're worse then doctors on stating the obvious.

I'd suggest you listen to the advice of someone who's beaten the online chess960 world champion - they're not good at all!

I drew that FM NoWuss in LIVE BLITZ, I am clearly superior to you buddy.
Your intuition theory is weakzzzzz.

Well, my score against him in live 960 is 3 wins, 2 losses. I'd suggest you learn from the pointers (1), (3), and (4), so you can play him again and win!
After the first win, follow (5) and keep winning!

TROLL
Instead of getting jealous and calling me names, maybe you can learn something from my advice.

960 is for sissies that cant memorize opening theory because their brains are disfunctional. I would suggest you to get real and play actual blitz, the only type of chess alpha males play.
GREETINGS.

Sorry about the off topic question, but I was wondering what the proper pronunciation for the word fide is. Does it rhyme with laundry detergent, or sound like fee day? Pretty sure I've heard both.

I just say it letter by letter, like: F - I - D - E. Fee-day, or fide (like tide, English is no first language to me, but it doesn't sound very "american" to me, so I don't pronounce it like that) or f-i-d-e, I think in the chess context you'll get understood either way!

@Stepheson2 How am I a BS artist? I just carefully wrote an article to help people beat masters, while you spend 2 minutes in a rapid game to hang a full queen.
Even 2Q1C would beat you 10-0, any time control.

@Slow_pawn It's a good question, don't worry! Now that I've written this article, the hardest part about beating an FM will be pronouncing the title when you tell your friends you beat one - it's pronounced "fee-day".
@Amonchess When you post a win against an FM using your strategy, please post it and only then can you compare your strategy against mine.
Recently, I played an FM in both daily chess and daily 960, and I won both games. Since I had a few hundred games at once, I probably didn't spend more than 10 minutes of thinking time on either game in total.
The master I played was ranked #1 globally on chess.com for daily 960 at the time. That's right, I beat the online chess960 world champion! Looks like it's time I set my goals a bit higher.
I realized that every player will play their first master at some point, so here are some tips for you to beat them easily when you do!
(1) Don't be afraid. Masters aren't very good. They're just good at playing intimidating-looking moves. You have to believe in yourself.
(2) Never resign. Even if you're down 3 queens, don't give up. You can't win/draw if you don't try!
(3) Play the board, not the rating. If you play the rating, you'll play defensively and lose. On the contrary, you should not thinking about your opponent's rating.
(4) If you want an illogical result (winning against a stronger player) you can't play logically. You need to be brave and create complications!
(5) Don't respect your opponent. Your goal in the game should be to show the master he/she has no clue about chess. If this isn't clear when you win, make sure to say it in the chat. This will pave the way for future victories, as the master will be scared of you.
Hope this helps! Now enjoy the games, and hopefully you'll be crushing masters like they're nothing in no time.

The 960 game:
But seriously, I actually couldn't come up with 5 "troll" tips, so I actually gave 2 tips that were for real, and that I believe in. It should be obvious which 2 they are. My only victories against NMs/FMs on this site are from bullet/blitz, and one other daily game where my FM opponent resigned after dropping a pawn on move 10. Hardly inspiring though. Yes, I was losing in the daily game , and I doubt he tried too hard in the 960 game since it was unrated.
Good luck with the scalps everyone!
