how to do a conditional move in live chess?

I have seen some of the bullet brawl vidios and the person making the vidio often makes there oppomentsmove and then makes there own so if the oppoment makes the pridicted move then the conditional move is made.
I have tried this and failed so could anyone PLEASE help me?
