The average number of points you get/lose per a game is 8 so you need to win 4 games. Suppose you play [N] games within 1 hour. Approximately you have to win [X+4] games if you lose [X] games hence [X+4 + X = N]. This is the equation of your success

don't hang your piece, try to be focused in your game, ensure king safety, and importantly, chomp on hanging pieces(checkmates are included in "hanging pieces" but chomping would be spotting.)
