How to get FIDE document that proves that you're a titled player?

Please can anyone help:

I have a rating that is close to getting CM title but chess.com says that if you are to be a titled player, you have to own some FIDE documents that show that you are a titled player. How do I get them?

Thanks,

You will have to wait intil you actually qualify for the CM title and the apply for it with FIDE. Some federations handle that part but yours may not. If not, you will need to apply for the title and pay the fee to get it.

At that point, you'll be able to start the process here to get the title recognition.

How do I apply for it with FIDE though?

Your national federation normally does that and they may pass the fee on to you. If they don't,  FIDE has a method for players to do it and I believe it is listed in the tiltle document on their site. But basically, you fill out the title application and pay the fee.

Can you please give me the link to FIDE's "title document".

All the appropriate  document links are at the bottom of that page.

This one is the newest one that goes into effect July 1, though the links may be the same.

Thanks, but it doesn't have an application form if you want to become a CM or an FM.

Section 8. The Federation has to pay a fee to get a title awarded. If the Federation won't do it, then the player can contact FIDE. You shouldn't worry about it until/unless you get a 2200 FIDE rating (or get that rating during a tourney). Then, if you national federation doesn't handle it, you should contact them first to see how they do it (they may pass the cost on to you), contact FIDE directly.

No, they are both. The W is in parentheses to show the are included in that fee.
